Servo Unit for D4-300D-A Question

2015-03-03 15:44

Hello:
I do have  the Servo Unit in stock and available now.  It will have to be programmed which takes about two days.  This is a new Servo Unit, however there is a core charge on this Servo Unit.  This means that Volvo Penta is trying to get back your old damaged unit.  They investigate why if failed and sometimes rebuild them for use within Volvo Penta.  To encourage you to send the old  unit back they charge a $1,000 refundable core charge.  Once we get back your old unit, we will reimburse you the $1,000 that we charged you.

On the Expired Voltage Converter the price is higher than retail as this is a very rare item.  The person who I
found that had one of these charges a premium as they are so rare. I do NOT think this is the correct voltage Converter for your engine.  The  3842462 voltage Convertor was only used on the Volvo Penta D11 series engines.

You have a D4-300D-A engine that uses a different voltage convertor.  I am going to send you a new quote with what I think is the correct convertor.

Please check with your mechanic.

Hello:

Attached is a new quote that includes the Voltage regulator that I show goes with your D4-300A-D with an IPS-B (IPS 400). I feel pretty confident that this is the one you should use.

I am happy to supply the expired regulator, but I think you should check with your mechanic.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
